We offer pickup of firewood, briquettes, split wood, and log sections from the HIF sawmill in Hemsbünde every Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
Similarly, wood by-products such as wood chips, sawdust, and bark mulch, as available.
Make sure to bring the appropriate devices for securing the load when picking it up.

Unser Brennholz entsteht bei der Weiterverarbeitung unseres getrocknetem Eichenschnittholz. Bei einer Restfeuchte von nur ca. 12% kann es ohne Bedenken umweltschonend und mit sehr guten Heizwerten sofort für wohlige Wärme sorgen oder im Holz- oder Steinofen zum Einsatz kommen.
Wir kappen unsere Scheite auf eine Länge von ca. 15-30 cm, passend für die üblichen Ofengrößen.

Stammabschnitte
In unserem Sägewerk fallen Stammabschnitte im ersten Bearbeitungsschritt in der Kappanlage an. Dieses frische Holz sollte ca. 2 Jahre abgelagert werden, damit es seine Heizkraft voll entfalten kann. Die Stammabschnitte können im frischen Zustand am besten in gleichmäßige Scheite gespalten werden und ergeben ein optisch schönes Brennholz mit dem guten Heizwert des harten (vorwiegend) Eichenholzes.
